Sitting on the runway at AMS. Been stuck for over an hour now and have 9+ hours in the air to look forward too. And a connection to try to make. Yay. Wish I could drive over the Atlantic and at least be in my own schedule. Volvo 850R manual wagon I spotted Froday for your time.

That stinks... Schipol, however is a great airport. Sorry about the delay. 9 hours - are you headed to N America or Asia?

North America - back home to Texas. Made it - we actually made up most of the time in the air. And yes Schipol is a great airport. It appears the delay was waiting 5 minutes for a transfer passenger that hadn’t shown up and then we missed a slot and it snowballed.
